Hi I’m Olga and I’m a Cinematographer based in Sydney, Australia. Coming from a photography background I’m passionate about all aspects of the art and science of filmmaking, from the very technical side all the way to the creative. I have tertiary qualifications in Screen and Media (Film & TV Production) as well as photography and design.

I’ve shot on a number of different professional cameras and lenses and have used a variety of industry standard equipment. My style and inspiration mainly come from the analogue era, cinema and raw art that moves me emotionally.

My hobbies span far and wide, I love trying new things, going on adventures, overcoming challenges and exploring all life has to offer. I learnt early in life through love and loss how precious time is and how fast life moves so I always try to make every moment count. I love filmmaking, photography, listening to live music, playing drums, design of all kind from graphic to architecture to clever gadgets and concepts that break the mould. I particularly love the mid century design era and anything with a nostalgic feel to it. I enjoys reading movie scripts and watching behind the scenes of films and am obsessed with the art of cinematography and the way colours, textures and compositions of still and moving images can make you feel.

I documents some of my creative journey on social media, including Instagram and YouTube, hoping to help others by sharing my experiences and creating a like minded community around the love of visual storytelling.
